Crazy Covid-19 update for Belize. A new countrywide Si has been drafted. Much of Ambergris Caye is on restricted or limited business hours and we are still waiting for whatever rules they hand is on island.
It’s not easy surviving Covid-19 in San Pedro Belize when your washing machine craps out. As for Ambergris Caye, we are awaiting new rules for Sun Apr 26th – May 1st. After that the news SI will be in place.
Surviving Covid-19 on Ambergris Caye Belize has not been easy. Shorter shopping hours cause social gatherings with long lines daily. Government sets one countrywide SI and then our EOC declares different.
Current Tropic Air Covid-19 Flight Schedule Mar 30th – April 3rd for passengers and cargo flights. International and some in-country runs are still suspended.
As of late March 29th it was confirmed there 2 cases of Covid-19 San Pedro and and 1 case of Covid-19 in Belize City. Making current total 3 cases of Covid-19 in Belize.
