Marco Gonzalez Maya Site
Get up close with Mayan culture at Marco Gonzalez. Play archaeologist for a few hours with popular guide, Jan Brown. You will travel a few miles south of town near the tip of Ambergris Caye to a small site area past Laguna de Boca Chica. This eco-tour is unlike any other. Walking the grounds is like taking a step back in time. The black soil is blanketed by broken pottery many centuries old. It is an awe inspiring experience to walk on ancient Maya grounds.

Hol Chan Marine Reserve
A ten minute boat ride to the marine reserve and another five to Shark Ray Alley is a repeat worthy trip. Become one with nature and whichever of the several hundred marine species that crosses your path. Be sure and pop in at Hol Chan Marine Museum located on Caribena Street – northwest in town.
A relaxing a sunset cruise on a catamaran or a pontoon party boat are both great options. Each features unique services but both add a pleasant treat to boating.
