It’s Saturday and I have the house to myself – tacoboy went to help Dick on boat motors and then to Pedro’s Bar to watch the game.I have been working hard all morning and figured I could have most of the day off tomorrow if I get blog post done ahead [still have to check emails] Then I thought while I am at it why not get something up for Monday too and be way ahead of the game so I can catch up on other stuff.
Lunch time – I am going to settle in and have a nice lunch of Organic Mixed Greens with black bean salad on top – YUM. Afterward I am thinking it is time to go for a float in my tranquility tank. I lay on one of our floaty mattresses and cover myself with another one so I am well protected by the sun – got head covered too. Last time I did this tacoboy had to do a double take as I was so well camouflaged among all our floaty tots. It is the most peaceful and relaxing thing to do just lay there floating and listening to the Belize birds – sounds of our neighborhood and Tropic Air planes flying by.
Fast forward to Sunday. So much for a day off ended up working till 2pm with sporadic dips in the pool – then a good long float. Everyone was playing with the floaties and having lots of fun. Cindy decided to cook a nice dinner and Paul read us all trivial pursuit questions while we were waiting. It is 9:46pm and I am just wrapping up at my desk now – so ready for bed.

Anytime Alan – I just pulled it from suppliers site. I want to try it soon will let you know what I think. Cutting out sugar should more than allow you to have wine especially when your son is a wine broker. Ruthie and I always joke the reason we go to aquafit is so we can eat it all without thinking twice.
Many thanks for your explanation of stevia, Laurie. This lady dietician recommends stevia to replace sugar in drinks and cooking. I really will have to read all the info I got and start applying. Now the weather is getting better, I will have more motivation!!! As long as I don’t have to cut out my wine. I would not like to get too much blood in my alcohol stream!! That causes sickness.I mean, what’s the use of having a son who is a wine broker, if you can’t help him sample his product?? Some of it may be off!!

It is most peaceful feeling Alan – laying there and having the breeze move you slowly around the pool. That is Molly our timeshare dog – Cindy who lives below us is her mom we are just aunt and uncle.
Stevia is a South American herb that has been used as a sweetener by the Guarani Indians of Paraguay for hundreds of years. The leaves of this small, green Stevia rebaudiana plant have a delicious and refreshing taste that can be 30 times sweeter than sugar.
Stevia has many excellent properties. The body does not metabolize the sweet glycosides from the stevia leaf or any of its processed forms – so there is no caloric intake. Stevia doesn’t adversely affect blood glucose levels and may be used freely by diabetics.
Zac mentioned recently that adding Chia seeds to his smoothies [in addition to moringa and cacao powder] has really helped with his weight loss – he was looking to tone belly area too.
Historically, Chia seeds served as a staple food of the Nahua (Aztec) cultures of Central Mexico. Jesuit chroniclers referred to Chia as the third most important crop to the Aztecs behind only maize and beans, and ahead of amaranth. Tribute and taxes to the
Aztec priesthood and nobility were often paid in Chia seed.
Chia seeds typically contain 20% protein, 34% oil, 25% dietary fiber (mostly soluble with high molecular weight), and significant levels of antioxidants (chlorogenic and caffeic acids, myricetin, quercetin, and kaempferol flavonols). The oil from Chia seeds contains a very high concentration of omega-3 fatty acid — approximately 64%. Chia seeds contain no gluten and trace levels of
sodium. http://nutritiondata.self.com/facts/nut-and-seed-products/3061/2
Even your dog seems to be looking for you. How peaceful can it get??
I have a question for you……what is, “Stevia? ” The reason I ask, is that I got some info on losing belly fat etc. and stevia is listed as a good thing. This diet thing is also about organic stuff as well. Most interesting reading.
