Are We Done Yet?

I thought we were done with the rain as the weather seemed to have shifted yesterday but we ended up with more this morning – ugh. Thankfully it did not last long as I was invited on a birthday party boat ride aboard the Lady Leslie. We will head out do a snorkel stop and then sail to Caye Caulker for lunch.

I am so ready to relax and enjoy the ride, been a hectic morning as I was up at 5:00 am working and then rushing off to the morning show on Reef Radio and TV with Cowboy Doug. Now I am rushing to finish this post and get ready before Cowboy comes back to give me a ride back to town.

Today’s pics are from driving around with Maureen yesterday. After the rain stopped we had to go change their cart for a new one and take Tracy some lunch. We wanted to take pics of the water water garden process but the water was to much and we did not wear the right shoes to get to the build spot in Karina’s yard. I did take the opportunity to snap off more pictures of just how wet San Mateo is right now and so that the Belize Red Cross could see how badly the rain has affected the area.

  1. Dr Al says:

You must approach the rain as a swimmer in a pool. Though you are wet you do not feel wet because there is no subject/object dichotomy. So it must be with rain. If you do not feel fundamentally separate from it, you may get wet but not suffer from being wet. (Basic Zen 101)
