One more day in Corozal

Sitting on Mirador hotel lobby right now in Corozal. They have cheap internet; $4 bzd for 1 hour and there are 2 lap tops.

Went shopping with Michele this morning – wanted to get a few things so we went to Wal-mart in Playa Del Carmen. It took me no more than 5 minutes to get mall head, but it was worth it got some new swim fins, a mask & snorkel set and some new headphones for my mp3 player.

Made the bus with seconds to spare so no time arrange transfer service ahead of time. When we got to Chetumal, we had trouble reaching our usual transfer service, so the guy at the information booth gave me Ravey’s card and helped me call him ( I was having phone card issues but he got it to work)

Ravey said he would be there in 1/2h which would have likely got us back in time, unfortunately he hit some traffic and was a bit delayed which meant we missed the last Tropic Air flight from Corozal to San Pedro and get one more day of vacation – I was not disappointed.

Ravey was a good driver, I would totally recommend him – remembered us from before when he used to work for the company I was trying to reach in first the place. He called and fixed it so that we could get on the 7:30 am flight to San Pedro then toured us around town a bit stopping at Santa Rita ruins. When Ravey asked us what we were looking for in a hotel and we said inexpensive and must have a tv. He checked one place but it was more than we wanted to spend considering we were there less than 24 h, the second place he took us to was on the water and a winner.
