Almost 24 hours at the Beach

When I was thinking about Our Exotic Caye weekend getaway I realized it was a great decision to stay right in town because San Pedro has some of the best Resorts and Hotels in Belize. Erin and Rudy came for breakfast this morning and we enjoyed a nice meal by the pool. We will meet up again at Exotic Caye after 3 PM. Having a great day – so nice to be spending 24 hours on the beach. Erin and Rudy were content to sit in the loungers and watch the world go by – as dusk was setting in they decided to walk the beach to town. Dick and Paul are watching football with “How I met Your Mother” as their flip channel show. I am going to go relax on the veranda and listen to the band playing Santana. We are ground floor I am enjoying the view with all the lush plants and doing nothing. Here are some pictures from Sunday Funday when Erin and Liam stayed at Exotic Caye Resort last January. The staff was helpful and friendly checking us in – the room was clean, with a kitchen option and we were steps to the beach. There is a restaurant on-site called the Blue Iguana (update Aug 2015 – Now “Hot Spot”) but we opted to get take out burgers from Georges Kitchen – another handy option. UPDATE 2020 This resort no longer exists. The land is getting prepared to accommodate the new Marriott Branded Residences by ECI Development.
