I got the official details about this weekend’s Kite Competition, so mark your calendars. So far we have 4 invites for Sunday afternoon. I am definitely planning on this event as I can’t wait to see the kites – will have to see which of the other events we make it to.

Moose’s Children’s Annual Kite Competition
Easter Sunday (April 12)
Starting at 11 AM at Crazy Canucks beach bar.
A $200 savings account in the winner’s name at Belize Bank
Eiden Salazar will donate $100 to the second place winner
Other prizes will be given for the largest, smallest, prettiest, and most creative kite. As well as the best overall flyer, highest flyer, longest time flyer, and friendliest flyer.
1. Each contestant must build their own kite (parental assistance only is accepted)
2. Each contestant must bring a really big smile and use it during the competition.
In addition to all the competition fun, there will be live music with Drummer Dan’s Beach Jam and BBQ; burgers, hot dogs, and more.
Prizes have been donated by these fine local businesses:
Pirate’s Pizza, George’s Kitchen, El Patio, Pelican Internet and Properties, Pepperoni’s Pizza, Pulse Music, Caribbean Connection, Devon’s Pizza, DandE’s Ice Cream, and Mouse Pad.
