Big Orange Ball
I was heading downstairs to take out the garbage and I caught a glimpse of the sunset – ran back upstairs grabbed my camera and headed for the roof. It was one of those big orange balls that sinks slowly and turns the sky amazing colors. This would have been a good night for a sunset cruise. Carole just asked if we can do another one soon as her friend Jaques is back in town for 3 weeks.
Earlier I met up with Brad and Sheila from Wisconsin at El Divino – this is their first time to the island and they are loving it. They found my blog in their Belize research and wanted to know more about what it is like living here. Both agreed a week is just not enough time – and they are not wanting to go home so soon. I still remember what that felt like and we had 3 weeks at the time.
Back to the land of the cheese heads. See you soon Brad and Sheila – any thoughts of when you will make your next trip?
Thanks again Tacogirl. Sheila and I are now back in Wisconsin:( We miss San Pedro. We will be back soon. We are very excited. We will keep up on your blogs as it lets us live there, if only for the moment. You ROCK!

I will be arriving on Thursday evening and staying until Tuesday morning. My sister and her husband are going there on Thursday with their crowd of friends.
I am invited to soooo many parties and activities that I have no clue where I might end up each day.
All I know is that I will have to tie a string unto my liver in case I lose it over the weekend…hah!
My uncle couldn’t get me a room at Banyan Bay this year because the Hotel is full to capacity. I BARELY managed to get a room at lily’s Hotel and the price is good.
My sister got a free room at Belizean Shores Resort but that is TOO FAR out of town for my liking,
Oh Tacogirl can I email you after Easter concerning how to get packages from the USA to San Pedro through mail boxes etc. I think its better we correspond via email than here. I have some questions concerning that.
Anyway, hope you and your bf have a happy Easter weekend and PARTY HARD for me:D

Thanks for the info Remo – will you be here for your Uncle’s beach bash? I saw the commercial for the shrimp eating contest too. The annual kite contest is happening again at Canuck’s that was a lot of fun last year. Once again to many good options at the same time.
My uncle has planned a beach bash on behalf of The Villas at Banyan Bay on Sunday April 4th. Lots of food and drinks (reasonable price he assured me).
You all are invited to attend.
Oh and I heard there will be a shrimp eating contest at Mojitos (near jaguars) on Saturday I believe.
