I was heading over to the new place to let Basil out this morning. He recently decided he wanted to move back home and found his way there – so we have been letting him stay at Cindy’s again. I took Molly with me and she seemed to know just where we were going on our walk – she was trotting off ahead and turned down the road to go home.
While there I popped upstairs to our new place to say hi to Heraldo and help do some cleaning. Got all the cupboards and drawers washed out with bleach water so they are ready to put stuff in.
For those of you who are thinking about moving to Belize – most house rentals in Belize come furnished to some degree. This makes it very easy to move especially if you are coming from another country.
Here are pictures of 3 houses I liked on my drive with Dick the other day.
That is a great deal $480 hopefully the rest of your group will find a decent price too.
170 days and I’ll be swimming with you! WOO HOO! Can’t wait to hang out with you guys again! We are all excited of course – we have our tickets already – last month they went down to $480 VERY briefly, like for 3 hours – since then they haven’t been under $700 so our church group is still waiting to get their tickets. HAPPY SUNDAY!
You will have to come for a swim next time you are down.
Our new place is one street over from the one we are in now Maureen – yes to pool. We moved into this one the year you were here for lobsterfest I think so that would be 2.5 years ago – boy time flies.True about not needing a UHaul. I was considering a truck for our king size bed but Lara was convincing me that since it is so close a golf cart will be good enough to move it.
HA! Sorry, I just read your previous blog entry…where is your new place?
Hi Laurie,
Where are you moving to? I thought you just recently did that, but it could have been awhile! Hopefully it has a pool 😉 Have fun moving, I guess the good thing about moving in San Pedro is you don’t have to have a UHaul because most places come furnished AND you probably don’t accumulate as much stuff as here…AHHHH… the simple life!
Take Care!
