Thankfully the connection Barefoot Bar beside the Belize Mixology course at the Tipsy Tuna in Placencia is good for us right now. As a result, most of the time Fermin and I have tried to connect to the net and do something we get bounced around like ping pong balls. Even though has been frustrating, we both agreed we are glad to be here in spite of tech troubles. I found out we are not alone with our internet woes. I received a text that the internet is acting up for some in San Pedro after the countrywide power outage last night. When living in Belize, these are the things you just kinda get used to.
It has been triple shower weather in Placencia since the day we arrived – hot hot hot with a side of sweaty. I am not complaining though, I have following report of hell freezing over from very reliable my Montana Weatherman Brent:
So yesterday we had our big snowstorm… tapered off in the evening… temp hovered around 38… so the snow mostly went away and it was just wet… well this morning it was 28 and my doors were fuking frozen shut on my Escalade ~ WTFJ ha
Love it
Esp since I will be escaping it soonish for Ambergris Caye…
Have a fine weekend.
Later,
Brent
I will leave you with some hot and sunny Placencia pictures – these are dedicated to anyone like Brent who is starting to feel winter setting in and ready to fly south.
