I opened the veranda door this morning so Molly could go outside – she poked her head out saw how wet it was and decided to pass. Thanks to Tropical Storm Matthew it’s a wet Sunday in San Pedro. Time is 6:37am- the sky is a big blue gray blanket and and it has been raining since at least 4:30am [ probably longer].
Water level at the pool in our building is just short of spilling over and I can see the drainage hole on the seawall across the canal is covered. I can just imagine some people on the island right now are very wet like those in San Mateo.
Back later – if the rain lets up I will go shoot some pics in our neighborhood.
Went to take some neighborhood pics – Molly and I got as far as the next road when a light drizzle and skeeters got us turned around and headed back home.

Very interesting info about needs for hurricane preparedness. Glad to see that y’all managed to get through Matthew relatively unscathed.
We are for sure on the count down…only 30+ days.
Let us know how San Mateo and Holy Cross made out after all this rain.
I will do when I get word Kathy. Did you see Dorian’s facebook pictures of the area? Sp Sun had some on their blog too I think was looking pretty wet.
