8 Money Saving Travel Apps and Better Belize Flights
Your Belize Flight is So Much Easier Than in the Past
Traveling from the United States to almost any country has never been easier, and with additions of even more airlines adding flights to Belize last year, so many more folks are sure to discover this little slice of paradise in 2016. American Airlines:
Starting on June 6, 2015, travelers were able to begin to enjoy direct flights between Los Angeles and Belize.
The Los Angeles flight leaves at 11:55 PM on Friday’s and arrives in Belize at 5:47 AM on Saturday’s.
The flight leaves Belize on Saturday’s at 7:35 AM and arrives in Los Angeles at 12:31 PM.
Southwest Airlines:
October 15, 2015, marked the arrival of the inaugural Belize flight, flying out of Houston’s Hobby International.
Hobby to BZE – 2:25 PM to 3:45 PM Sunday to Friday, and 11:00 AM to 12:20 PM on Saturday
BZE to Hobby 4:40 PM to 8:15 PM Sunday to Friday and 3:50 PM to 7:25 PM on Saturday
Copa Airlines:
December 8, 2015, Copa Airlines began their flights between Belize and Panama. Flights run on Tuesday’s and Friday’s only and are a welcome addition to Belize.
Flights leaving Panama (PTY-BZE) will depart on CM0280 at 11:42 AM; Arrive at 1:07 PM
Belize to Panama (BZE-PTY) will depart on CM0281 at 2:06 PM: Arrive at 5:25 PM
Tropic Air:
On February 17, 2015, Tropic Air entered into a partnership with CM Airlines of Honduras to offer same day travel between Belize City and Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
Update September 2017: Tropic Air flights to San Pedro Sula (connecting to Tegucigalpa) were suspended.

One Final Note
2015 also saw the implementation of the 3-hour check-in rule for international flights out or Philip Goldson International Airport, (PGIA) otherwise known as Belize City (BZE). Take a look at the question posted on Trip Advisor, and the responses folks (including me) posted in response. 3 hours early for BC airport?

will take the flight from Tegucigalpa to Belize with Tropic air, flying with their cessna caravan probably gives some wonderful views of the caribbean sea
It’s only laabsta if it comes from Main. Other wise..it’s just lobster.
Some reputable places have special off season licences. Always check with the manager and never buy lobster off season from a fisherman.
buck…. many restaurants , even in closed season…serve laabsta…illegal…but …..!!!
so, common down…..enjoy.
Buck lobster season is closed from Feb 14th at Midnight till our annual Lobster Festival in mid June.
Will there be fresh lobster in stores and restaurants when we visit in March 2016?
