2019 Super Bowl Parties on Ambergris Caye

Once again it is Super Bowl time on Ambergris Caye. Many bars island wide are having parties, and last year the list was 11 parties long. This year 12 people have stepped up to give a bit of early notice, just like last year, it is quite possible a few late notice parties will get added to the list.

Even if you are not a football fan, pick a party or two if you are feeling social, it is always fun watching people get excited and cheer at the TV.

The second party which is not really an official party is a great one for those who aren’t fans because the band will also keep you entertained, as well as the football fans.

2019 Super Bowl Parties South Ambergris Caye

Pirate South Beach: Fully covered outdoor beach bar outfitted with a large flat screen to enjoy the big game. Pre-game happy hour is 3-5 PM and includes Local drinks 2-for-1, and $30 BZE buckets of beer (6 bottles). Also, for those that might be half watching football, South Beach has many outdoor games to play while enjoying a cold drink.

Crazy Canucks: Sunday jam at 3 PM with BBQ option. Will have the game on under their tent.

Camo Cantina: If food and football go hand in hand for you, then this Natch-O average Super Bowl Party is the one to go to. What football fan would not love a “build your own food” bar? Nothing like a good all you can eat option and this one sounds very tasty. Pulled pork and chicken fajita meat plus all your favorite toppings for only $25. Camo will have free jello shots and 3 choices of frosty margaritas at a bargain price of $10. They will also be gaming, so purchase your Super Bowl bingo cards for $20 and squares for $5.

Amber Beach Bar and Grill: Starting Superbowl Sunday early with live music midday with Bamboo Chicken Band. Enjoy game day bbq specials until 4pm when they start serving up Superbowl specials. Free shots, extended happy hour during the game, and a special menu. Including $1 wings, $10 deep fried chicken and 3 cheese studded jalapeno poppers, $15 nachos or chili. They will have the game on the projector beachside and have a betting pool going. Purchase your squares anytime at the bar.

2019 Super Bowl Parties in San Pedro Town

Carlo and Ernie’s Runway Bar: This bar is a popular sports bar for NFL football all season long. They’ll have the TV’s on in the bar area, and a huge screen set up under the covered extended seating area (usually 10 screens in total). Their football squares pool last year got up to $6000 and also had t-shirt giveaways, and of course, drink specials.

Angler’s Restaurant Bar: Come and root for your favorite NFL team. They will be having plenty of deals all day long: $5.00 burgers, 2 for 1 tequila, Jaggers, and Fireball. They will also be serving beer & of course their famous 32 OZ. draft beers. Come & bring the entire family!

2019 Super Bowl Parties North of Town

Palapa Bar & Grill: Scott and Jodie are going all out with a Pre-Super Bowl Concert featuring Kelly McGuire, live from 2:00 PM – 5:00 pm. At 5:30 PM, 5 big screen TV’s will be broadcasting the game live through a Bose system party special – free jello shots during the game.

Sandbar: Is having a “non compete” Super Bowl party too. They will be offering $1 wings and beer bucket specials to any who happens to want a reasonably low key place to chill on game day.

Wayo’s: If you want to enjoy a fun tropical head to this well-loved beach bar for a Super Bowl Party over the water, then this is the place to be. They will have great food & drink specials, as well as fun contests. Aside from their regular TV’s, Wayo’s will have their over the water projection screen set up.

North Ambergris Caye (Across the Bridge)

Feliz Bar and Grill: Well known north Ambergris destination for Sports. This low key party will have cold beer, comfort food and boasts the fastest wifi on the island. Their Super Bowl Sunday food special is $3 for $10 tacos.

Croc’s Sunset Sports Bar: 15 TV’s, plus a projector on display to view the game. They will have both upper stories open, plus theground floor that has a bar and a deck to view the game. Jell-O shots and drunken gummie bears to give away and plenty of parking.

Truck Stop: If you are looking for a unique game venue with a great pool option and delicious food this is the spot. They will be showing the big game on their 18-foot screen. They will also be doing some gaming, one of with a $1,000 prize winner.

The Truck Stop will be offering the following tasty food specials. Arepa will be serving chilled New England-Style lobster rolls made with butter poached lobster mixed in a Louis Sauce, Old Bay Seasoning and celery. Rasa will be serving a cooked-to-order Los Angeles burger topped with avocado and house-made bacon jam, lettuce, and tomato. Slice of Haven will be serving New England firehouse chili topped with cheddar cheese and sour cream. And of course, they will have wing specials on both, Buffalo wings and their famous Malaysian wings.
