I was going to do a split post between Jen’s Yoga class and Walters got a big Deck party at Pedro’s but after doing the class I think Jen needs a post of her own.
I have to be honest I am not a hug yoga person and coming from that place I can say I really enjoyed Jen’s Class. She is a great teacher and her class definitely works well for new people like myself and those who are more advanced and know what they are doing. She used all the proper names for the moves then went on to detail how to do it and tell is when we needed to be inhaling or exhaling. She also walked around the class frequently to make sure that our postures were correct and quietly guided us when we needed to shift our positioning slightly.
If you would like to participate in a class while you are here you can Join them Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays for Yoga. This is a 70 minute flow class starting at 9:00AM. They break down the postures, so this is a great class for beginners or returning yogis. Mats are provided. Bring a towel, and a bottle of water to. Sol Spa/ Phoenix Resort Fitness Center located at the north end of front street. Call Sol Spa for more information and to sign-up as class size is limited. 226-2410
Sure thing Tracee. I am sure you will enjoy it – Jen does a great class.
Thanks for this blog – we are on our way on Sunday and I’ve been looking for a great yoga class to attend while we are there.
I think you would like it Ruthie.
I’m finally getting into yoga and want to keep up with it in SP. This class looks perfect…I do like the flow yoga.
So far I like it the best of all the yoga classes I have tried Michele. I can imagine how it would build strength over time it was a great work out.
I took a few Vinyasa yoga classes last spring and really liked it. You will be amazed how strong you become over time. I’ll be sure to check out this class when we are there in January!
