Sunday Entertainment

Many people would agree Coconut Leo should make the list of “Must see Belize tourist attractions” with a qualification that you have to be in the right place at the right time to catch the show. Yesterday he was in fine form at Crazy Canucks Beach Bar. He started off playing horseshoes, then he was dancing up a storm, and finally ended up climbing a tree. It was great Sunday entertainment and so was the band, with guest musicians Scotty and Jack. I always love seeing different talents on stage with the regulars. It was also great seeing Colin and Laura again too as time is flying by fast on their 19-day vacation. Flying even faster for Scotty who is doing 12 days and yesterday was likely my last chance to see him this trip.

The moon was far more impressive in person. There was even another guy taking cell phone shots that agreed his were not nearly so brilliantly orange as the real thing.

I started my Sunday crawl further down the beach. Caribbean Villas was my second stop of the day. It’s always entertaining times with the regular Sunday beach crew and watching Tinker putter around, she was quite content in her pool.

Back to the beginning of the day and what got me out of the house, meeting Randie and Cathy at Rico’s bar and grill at Banyan Bay Resort. We got to know each other over lunch and even discovered Cathy has the same birthday as I do. Yesterday was the second day of their vacation and they have already both fallen in love 🙂
