San Pedro Lobster Fest Day 2

Today was great. It all started off waking up around 8 am, which is pretty early considering the party last night.

After getting up and having my iced coffee, I got busy doing some work that I was trying to finish before going to Portofino Resort at the north end of Ambergris Caye. Then all of a sudden hurricane Pedro comes blowing in. He wanted us to drop everything and go with him to take pictures. I told him I could not do that because I was busy and we had to be at Fido’s dock to catch the boat for noon.

He got on the phone started making calls, arranged for the boat to get us at Banana Beach Resort before they went to Fidos and said right lets go.

At this point I still had not finished my eggs Paul made me, was sitting in my nightgown not cleaned up or anything. So I rushed around and got cleaned up while Paul packed us a bag and off we went in Peter’s cart.

Got to Banana Beach Resort and took some pictures of the Fat Cats. They had fun posing and we were able to get it done in our 1/2 h time schedule.

More to follow, Shannon and Greg just turned up to go to Pedro’s for all you can eat pizza.

Pedro’s was jumping for all you can eat lobster. We saw lots of familiar faces and had a great time. Walter looked a bit tired from celebrating but our pizza was great as always.

The next day… Wow blogging sure is a full time job. For those of you who asked for more pics these 2 lobster fest blogs are sure to fill you up.
