Backgammon tournament

Share

Yesterday morning we headed out to Estel’s by the Sea for a Backgammon Blitz tournament that Cindy had organized with Charles.  20BZD to enter, instant elimination and winner takes all. Estel’s did food drink and specials for the group.

I was feeling pretty sleepy and not sure I even wanted to enter. I decided that if I was odd one out I would not play and if I was needed to balance out the numbers Cindy could count me in. Good job I was needed because I won $160.

Everyone quickly decided on a round 2. I almost made it to the final game and was taken out by Ryan on the very last roll by double sixes. Cori went on to beat him and win the second tournament prize money.

I reached the point where the juice is not worth the squeeze for me on drinking anymore. I would take one of Tracy’s Bloody Caesars any day though.

You are one smart lady! I can’t say the same when it comes to Jager OR only having rum in rum cake.

Have yet to try gibnut heard it is tasty though. As far as the frogs I have seen here would take an awful lot of then to make a meal ha ha.

I did not attend Jagerfest [do not want to ruin being one of the few who is exempt from drinking it] As for Cindy’s party the only rum I had was on Wade the gringo’s famous rum cake. Nov would be great.

Not suprisingly grilling and gambling are major island pastimes. I notice the BBQ appears to be gibnut and frog legs. I hope these were legally aquired through BAHA with mandatory permits.
