Carole invited me to go with her to the Sueno del Mar open house yesterday afternoon.
The boat ride was perfect. As we cruised up the island I thought life does not get much better than this – a smooth ride in the sun with a nice breeze and we got to meet some great people who stay at Sueno to boot.
When we arrived, John and Gail Lewis invited us to a byob tour of the penthouse – so we all stopped at the palapa at the end of the dock where they had a bar set up for us and beveraged up for our tour.
From the 360 wrap around deck of the penthouse including outdoor double sink with ample counter space and big bbq to the infinity edge pool and lush grounds they have done Sueno in style – it is definitly a dream.
After touring the penthouse and grounds we were invited back to the palapa for more drinks and some appetizers. As we nibbled, mingled and watched the sunset we saw 2 spotted eagle rays glide by in the water – now that’s a happy ending.
Thanks to the Sueno staff for making your open house such a pleasurable experience and to John and Gail for inviting us to see their place.
To see a pic of the spotted eagle rays check out Sueno del Mar Belize Blog.
Shopgirl – the links will come back soon I hope I am missing them too lol. For now if you need a fix they are still working and up on tacogirlblog.com
That would be fun rumpshaker.
ok can we plan a date to go swim with those eagle rays?i had never seen them in shallow water!
Beautiful place and sunset photos!
I believe you said that TB is still working on your blog page, I was wondering if you are going to add the links to the other blogs again? I am going into withdrawals not reading what’s up with your Mexico pals. thanks 🙂
Pam
Thanks ct see you soon.
It is beautiful Gail worth going up there if you get a chance. So funny about the front of people instead of their backs. Will try to add some in for you next time.
WOW looks like a great place! Everything looks amazing, especially the pool and grounds.
Glad you got to attend the open house and share it with us.
As an aside, you really need to be at the front or side of the assembly and take pictures of the people walking towards you, not their backs. 🙂
Gail
Those could be the most beautiful pics of the reef and sunset I have ever seen and I am less than 13 days to experience it live.
Oh and I like the colors of the new blog.
