Island Style Astrology and a Lesser Known Sunday Jam

Island Style Astrology

I decided to bring you a bit of fortune telling fun. Whether you are currently on vacation, or wishing you were, these horoscopes are sure to make you crack a smile.

Pisces: February 19 – March 20: You’re ready to see a variety of marine life, and communicate with the dolphins. Make sure some of your underwater selfies include you, and not just the cool looking coral formation. Afterwards you can enjoy some downtime and nap like a starfish.

Aries: March 21 – April 19: Your adventurous spirit will lead you to new and exciting island experiences. Just be sure to apply reef safe sunscreen, as your fiery nature will not enjoy a sunburn!

Taurus: April 20 – May 20: Indulge yourself with some luxurious relaxation reading in the pool. Embrace the slow pace of island life, but beware of overindulging in the delicious cocktails at the pool bar – you don’t want ‘goma’ (a hangover in Kriol).

Gemini: May 21 – June 20: Get ready to charm the flip-flops off the person on the next barstool. But with so many good stories to tell, make sure you don’t accidentally knock their rum punch by flailing your hands around in excitement.

Cancer: June 21 – July 22: Home is where the heart is, but for you, it’s also on Ambergris Caye. Just remember to come out of your shell occasionally while there. Tuesday night crab races are a perfect opportunity to hang with your kind.

Leo: July 23 – August 22: You will be the life of the beach party in San Pedro. Let your radiant personality shine as you bask in the warm sun, but try not to steal the spotlight from the local wildlife. Those iguanas are fabulously photogenic too!

Virgo: August 23 – September 22: Your attention to detail makes you an idea planner for a holiday adventure to Ambergris Caye. Just don’t get too caught up in perfecting every aspect of your trip – sometimes the most memorable moments are the unplanned ones!

Libra: September 23 – October 22: Struggling to choose between pina coladas and mojitos? Who knows, you might just inspire the next hit tropical song about your indecisiveness. Your diplomatic nature, will come in handy for mediating potential disputes over who gets the last lounge chair.

Scorpio: October 23 – November 21: The mystifying allure of the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean Sea are calling your mysterious nature. Embrace the unknown and dive the Barrier Reef – the underwater world holds secrets waiting to be discovered!

Sagittarius: November 22 – December 21: Your wanderlust will be fully satisfied in the paradise that is Belize. Take this opportunity to explore new horizons and embark on a thrilling adventure, but try not to get too distracted by every shiny seashell along the way!

Capricorn: December 22 – January 19: Your practical nature will serve you well as you navigate the island of Ambergris Caye. Just remember to kick off your shoes and indulge in a little spontaneity. Sometimes the best memories are made when you least expect them!

Aquarius: January 20 – February 18: Your free-spirited energy will find a perfect match in the eclectic spirit of San Pedro, Belize. Embrace the local arts, music, and cuisine, but try not to get too carried away, especially if the local guitar circle invites you to jam along! (Monday afternoons at Nauti Crab.)

Casey’s Boatyard Sunday Jam

If you are looking for centrally located but slightly off the beaten path fun, Casey’s Boatyard Bar and Grill on Crocodile Street is the place for you. It’s just around the corner from Maya Island Air. Sunday Jam starts around 3:00 pm and there’s a pool table for those who like a bit of extra action at the bar.

There’s also a chance you will see Coconut Leo on stage.

As soon as he got behind the mic, a few of us got our cameras out.

Live music also inspired a couple of dancers too, and definitely a good time was had by all that day.

Hopefully next year you will be back Bob. Glad you sill have my magnifier, that was my most useful business card ever. The old Banana Beach days were fun, I hung out there with friends sometimes.
