It’s not Just Fun and Parties in San Pedro

It’s not just fun and parties in San Pedro… we love our parades too ha ha. Thanks to Amanda I caught the beach part of the Garifuna parade as well as my usual view from our balcony.Garifuna Settlement day falls yearly on is November 19. On this day, Garifuna Settlement Day, the arrival of the first Garinagu to Belize by dory or dug-out canoe is celebrated by all Garifuna communities in Belize. I have to run and get ready for tonight – going to bbq at Maya and Colette’s to enjoy the fish we caught. I made shrimp with lime and coconut milk to bring. Becky and Bill should be here soon to get us.
