The old saying when it rains it pours is often applicable to our lives in San Pedro. There is always so much going on at once and this weekend is no exception.
As much as I wanted to go to trivia last night, I passed in favor of getting extra rest for tomorrow’s blood drive hosted as a collaborative effort by San Pedro Red Cross, the Cancer Society, and Belize Blood Services. Also happening in tandem with the blood drive is a Pap Smear and Immunization Campaign at the Dr. Otto Rodriguez S. P Polyclinic II on November 8, 2014 – with Gobhealth Belize and Miguel Perez.
Another reason to take last night off is that I know the private grand opening party tonight at Caribbean Villas is going to be good and I’m not going to want to leave early. Cindy said the food will be awesome and Matt is DJing – I can’t wait.
If you want additional information about Caribbean Villas Hotel, check out reviews and see 419 traveler photos on Trip Advisor.
In case you did not catch the blood drive information and event invitation or just want to “like” us as a show of support, visit San Pedro Belize Red Cross Facebook page.. Hope to see you at the Blood Drive. Thanks in advance for bringing a friend and helping us reach our goal of 100 pints.
I wanted to send a special shout out to Teacher Lisa for making our Vampire Lestat cape and, of course, I had to post our commercial again – I am so in love with it. The positive feedback our branch has received since it has aired has been amazing and a bunch of us have been enjoying watching it play regularly on Reef TV.
