After our busy Saturday night I decided to take the day off from posting and do as little work as possible yesterday. It ended up turning into an arts and crafts day for the girls and sports for the boys. Dick came over to watch football with Paul and eat candy. Cindy and I painted a backgammon board on one of our outdoor tables and patiently waited for it to dry and Michael watched us buzzing around all excited by our project. The three of us played a couple of tournaments after – Cindy came out ahead on that.
A couple of pics from Dick and Carole’s pot luck bonfire party Saturday night. We went there then headed to LeahAnn’s birthday party at Pedro’s Bar – after pizza and cake all of us went back to Carole’s just in time to hear some live music around the campfire.
Your best bet is to do a scouting trip and see what areas appeal to you the most Eukie. Caye Caulker might appeal to you.
Looking for a Belize location; strong artist community, ex-pats, not totally tourism. I want to experience the Belize in all it’s natural wonder. The locations I’ve heard about from other Americans are the heavily advertised tourism driven communities. Any suggestions? Many thanks – Eukie
We love it – Cindy and Paul are downstairs playing right now.
I haven’t played backgammon in a long time. I don’t even remember how to play.
