Update on Derrick
The other night I was talking to Nancy and getting an update on the progress of Derricks ongoing fundraiser to get him to Berklee summer camp. She said someone in the states who had seen Derrick play 2 years ago got together and asked a few friends to help out this great cause- more drops to fill the bucket. Derrick has never been out of the country or on a plane so this will be quite an adventure for him when it all comes to pass. Nancy said she or Drummer Dan will accompany him on his journey to make sure he gets there safe and sound and help him get settled.
Been trying to make a call this morning and I keep getting network errors on the phone – talked to Cindy in g-chat and she said same. Anyone else having same issue?
More to come off to the pool for class.
Pool was good the sun came out long enough for class and has gone back in hiding again. Maureen is a trooper as she bruised/cracked her ribs and was still teaching the class and in pretty fine form.
As if we don’t all already have enough social media to keep up with now there is Google Buzz. Not quite sure what to make of it. It appears to add people on it’s own who have gmail chat as I have done nothing and am already being followed and following people.
Quite possibly Colin lol.
Dan will have to buy some shoes!!
