Belize City Adventure
What an great day I had…. bacon egg Johnny cake at Ruby’s – a boat ride to Belize City on San Pedro Belize Express – a nice long walk and a Tropic Air plane ride.
Of course I snapped lots of Belize City pictures and will be posting more later in the week when I finish editing. Will write more about my travel adventure as well – have to process my thoughts it’s been a big day on so many levels.
Al is right Monkia he keeps yanking my chain apparently CBC too according to his wife. Anyone reading Al’s comments must take with pound of salt ha ha.
I have never eaten there yet Lori but it sounds like I should give it a try after your review.
Can you tell me what is in that delish soup at the little “cafe” next to Tropic Air at Muni Airport?
Monika: Laurie knows that 99.5% of my comments are for her entertainment and are mostly basura. e.g. BAHA regs concerning parrot residency, and glorifying the human buttocks.. However though Belize has many wonders, of its body if San Pedro is the crown, Belize City is definitely the armpit. Most tourists already know that having read the US State Dept travel warnings for that area. In San Pedro your worst health risk is indigestion in Belize City it is looking like swiss cheese.
Tacogirl, I really do not understand that you approve al salter’s comments which may be harmful to the country you love. Such comments are perfect to keep tourists away.

You are very courageous. I recall reading on the Belize Forums one should not travel to Belize City without body armour ,body guards and an AR 15. Driving in an MRAP vehicle is a good plan too. You might have been safer visiting Mogadishu.
