Miss Carole’s Party

Janet (Dicks mom) popped me on the coconut phone a couple of days ago to remind me about Carole’s birthday and make sure she was not spending it alone as Dick was out of town. Last night Carole said she wanted to go to Tranquility Bay today on the boat and then do El Divino at Banana Beach Resort in the evening. I told her I could not go on the boat as I had a Monday afternoon meeting but we would both come to El Divino.

Unfortunately Carole’s boat plans got rained out today – I told her I would send out a last min e-vite for her party. About 14 of us turned up and we had a nice time chatting – eating and some enjoyed 2 for 1 martinis which are always a big hit. I stuck with my fav drink [aside from iced coffee of course] Arnold Palmer – wish more people on the island made them.

Everyone was leaving lots of birthday wishes for Carole on Facebook. I decided to do mine yesterday when I saw people had already started. Not long after Monel popped me on the coconut phone and said I hope Carole has a good sense of humor – so I went to check his comment – someone told me that because Carol has been so bad she is getting “Dick-all” for her birthday :-O. I thought that was too funny especially since it was true in a way – he did not know when he wrote it that Dick had just left town on Friday and would not be here to celebrate.
