Appreciating Our Environment

Today October 15th is Blog Action Day, bloggers around the web will unite to put a single important issue on everyone’s mind. In 2007 the issue is the environment. Every blogger will post about the environment in their own way and relating to their own topic. Our aim is to get everyone talking towards a better future.

Off to Tai Chi class will finish blogging when I return.

Environment: ecology, the air. water, minerals, organisms, and all other external factors surrounding and affecting a given organism at any time.

One of the things I try to convey in my blog through writing about daily life on Ambergris Caye Island and use of pictures is how environment affects our state of being. It is pretty hard to be in a bad mood when you step out the door and are greeted by palm trees and the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. Smiling faces seen as you walk down the street are a testament that the beauty of San Pedro has charmed the hearts of many. If you could set up an environment appreciation meter here I bet it would be off the chart.
