Cindy suggested we take a drive south and find a spot to go fishing – so we piled into the cart and off we went. We encountered some pretty big puddles along the way and made it 4 miles south – decided we were far enough away from everything and everyone.
Paul and Cindy fished for a bit but didn’t catch anything – the fish were the lucky ones getting a free lunch [saw a big school of bonefish]. Molly and I went in the water and we all watched the rain clouds coming in. Was not long before we had to waterproof everything – the rain came fast and heavy. Paul and I decided to set up a coconut bocce ball court while Cindy opted for shelter and stayed relatively dry.
I can imagine how fast paced it is there. You must be having some great food. See you soon.
Mile a minute at times, it will be good to come back. See you on the 19th at Trivia…
Nice to hear from you Jack – we miss you. Bet you are having a fun time in LA.
After a very hectic two weeks indudated with busy LA environments, it is a pleasure to read about my friends having a dolce vita kind of afternoon.
Life is simple.
Coming up fast Laura – soon it will be you doing the sky watching.
even the stormy skies are beautiful! 88 days!
Will do Mary. The fish there were smart too. There is a spot further south than we were at that is supposed to be good fishing.
When you fine a good fishing spot to get to by golf cart let me know. Always wanted to find a spot on the back side. These fish on the front off the pier are too smart they get all our bait.!
Thanks Heather.
Awesome photos today!! Love looking at a storm! Well done!
