Extension of Condor Route Network to Include Belize via Cancun
The leisure airline Condor now includes the Belize airline Tropic Air as one of its partners with immediate effect. Flights to Belize Tropic Air can be booked via the existing destination Cancun (CUN) as an enhancement to the network of flights offered by Condor.
As set out in its current 2014/15 winter flights schedule, Condor regularly flies to Cancun (CUN), Mexico from Frankfurt (FRA) on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays and from Munich (MUC) on Mondays and Fridays. Onward flights to Belize (BZE) with Tropic Air are available Tuesday through Sunday. A return flight from Belize can be selected on a flexible basis as the connection via Cancun to Frankfurt or Munich and on to destinations throughout Europe is available daily.
Thanks to the cooperation with Tropic Air, Belize is now accessible to passengers from Europe in a faster, more convenient manner. Up until now, the journey to Belize involved catching connecting flights via the USA. Due to immigration checks and less than ideal connecting options, a fast onward journey to Belize was often not possible with passengers having to put up with total journey times of more than 24 hours. The new connection via Cancun means that Condor passengers can now enjoy significantly improved comfort and convenience. As a result, the journey time from, for example, Frankfurt to Belize has been cut to around 16 hours.
Belize lies on the Caribbean coast of Central America bordering onto Mexico and Guatemala. The Belize Barrier Reef – the second-largest coral reef in the world – and the famous Great Blue Hole make the small Caribbean nation a veritable paradise for divers. Anyone wishing, by contrast, to immerse themselves in an exciting and fascinating culture can retrace the footsteps of the Maya, whose descendants still live in the country to this day.
One-way tickets, including taxes and fees, are available from 549.99 Euro in Economy Class, 839.99 Euro in Premium Economy Class, and 1489.99 in Business Class. Flights can be booked with a travels agent.
