San Pedro Belize Express Announces Two Chetumal-Belize Daily Runs for Easter 2011

Belize City, Belize – April 1, 2011 – San Pedro Belize Express Water Taxi announces two runs daily from Chetumal, Mexico to Belize and from Belize to Chetumal to accommodate travel demand for the Easter holidays.

The additional runs between Mexico and Belize will accommodate both travelers from Belize and from Mexico. Vacationers from Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Merida, Chetumal, and even travelers flying into Chetumal from Mexico City can experience Belize and all the unique activities Belize has to offer, including world class snorkeling, diving, fishing, water sports, zip-lining, cave tubing, etc., as well as Belize’s fine dining and nightlife.

As an added service, San Pedro Belize Express customers from Mexico without passports may travel to Belize on a temporary pass for up to three days upon request and approval by Mexico Immigration.

“Now, travelers from Mexico can leave for Belize in the morning without waiting until the afternoon to enjoy a full day in Belize, and travelers from Belize can leave for Mexico in the afternoon without having to rush to make the morning boat,” says Miguel Sosa, San Pedro Belize Express Chetumal Port Manager.

“In our efforts to expand travel between Mexico and Belize, San Pedro Belize Express is offering this additional run to better accommodate our customers while attracting new ones who have not yet taken advantage of our service to experience both destinations,” says San Pedro Belize Express General Manager, Myron Marin.

As always for international trips, travelers must arrive to the port 30 minutes prior to departure time.
