For those of you who like to know more about living in Belize and what it costs to do so [ I get many of emails on this topic] – our water bill this month was $50.96 a jump of $4.91 from last month. Hotter weather = more showers and higher bill.
Some exciting news…. the Belize Film Commission and NICH are excited to announce the premiere of “Gates of Hell” on the History Channel (Channel 71 on Coral Cable Vision), Tuesday, August 17, at 8 p.m. Aside from Belize they have traveled to Belize, Nicaragua, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, and across the USA. Class was great today – a little exercise – a little chatting a lot of fun. Big shout out to Chunky and Ruthie hope you get to come back this year. Also a shout out to Gwen who is stateside [notice Dave small dot by the bridge in last pic].
Team 4 thorns and a taco won at trivia tonight and donated $110 to San Pedro Animal Foundation. SPAF has taken on their first project is in partnership with the Peace Corps in Sarteneja, Belize. Sarteneja is an isolated fishing village which has never had access to veterinary services. You can find out more on the San Pedro Animal Hospital site.
