Island Art and Craft Sale

A small group of island women get together weekly to paint and enjoy each other’s company. Once a year usually in December or January, the art group puts on an island art and craft sale to raise money that gets used to help women in need.

This year the island art and craft sale is Saturday, Jan. 11th and Sunday, Jan. 12th at Xanadu resort from 12-5 pm. So stop by and shop, not only will you get super cool art work, you will also be helping a great cause.

Laurie Norton grew up dyslexic and was very challenged by the school. She never dreamed she would move to Belize and become a writer. A year after her move to Ambergris Caye, Laurie became an entrepreneur and professional writer starting tacogirl blog in 2007. Since then she has helped many people plan their vacations or move.
