I have always been a big fan of magic – I watch Fool Us when ever I manage to catch it on TV. I have even seen Penn and Teller live when I was in Las Vegas for the world famous Consumer Electronics Show – great time. So you can imagine how pleased I was to find out that thanks to the Ambergris Caye Rotary, a cool international magic show is coming to Ambergris Caye and there is something fun to do on our small island besides hang out at a bar. 😉
Let the Show Begin
Rotary Club of Ambergris Caye is pleased to announce an evening of mystical magical entertainment.
Intermagia Magic Show consists of a group of traveling, international magicians with eight members from Spain, Chile, Guatemala, Mexico and Costa Rica.
Where: Paradise Theater
When: Monday October 10th, at 2:00pm and 7:00pm.
The 2:00pm show is a matinee show for families and children. Tickets are $10 per person.
The 7:00pm show is a special adult show for $50 per person.
There is also a limited number of reserved “Chairs for Charity” which are selling for $100 per person. Reserved ticket holders can enjoy a front-row view and delivered food and beverage seat service.
Tickets can be purchased from Crazy Canucks (south of town – beach), Wayo’s Beach Bar (Boca Del Rio) and Keller Williams (Front Street.)
Opening the show will be San Pedro’s own tumbling group, The Saints.
Proceeds from ticket sales will support The Rotary Club of Ambergris Caye’s new Wednesday night softball night through the San Pedro Kid’s Club and charity programs with The Rotary Club Sunrise in Belize City.
All schools in San Pedro are hosting a writing contest where children can submit a poem that captures the “Magic of San Pedro.” Forty complimentary children tickets will be given away to the winners of the poetry contest.
Last year, both San Ignacio and Belize City hosted sold-out events that were a huge success. It’s going to be an exciting event that brings magic to Ambergris Caye for the first time.
Rotary would like to thank all of the event sponsors: Hotel Central Park, Paradise Theater, The Coconut Cafe, Carts Belize, Carlo & Ernie’s Runway Bar, Ocean Breeze Cart Rental, The Villas at Banyan Bay and AquaVista Beachfront Suites.
