Eating for Hours
We ate – talked and drank for hours at the all you can eat Grand opening of Pinocchio Restaurant. The place was packed – lot’s of people came out to enjoy all they could eat [for $20bzd] and hear Hans sing. My favorite course was the antipasti and I liked the pizza a lot too – love thin crust. Hans and his staff did a great job of making everyone feel welcome and making sure none of us went thirsty or hungry throughout the night.
According to Hans there’s only one true Mojito in the world and all the others should not be named as such. The recipe he prepared for the grand opening is one that helped grow the liver of Ernest Hemingway (and others) while in Cuba – Mint, Rum, Lime, Sugar and more. I have to say as far as mint Mohitos go it was very tasty and people were gobbling them up – at $20 bzd for 4 it was a great deal.
If you were not able to make it last night Hans decided to make his grand opening 2 nights same time 6:00pm same place Pinocchio Restaurant.

Hey Laurie, I hope all is well. I have been so busy the last few months I haven’t had a chance to speak in a while. I hope all is good on the island. That food looks great and what a great deal. Thanks for posting. We hope to see you by the end of the year.

I am getting really tired of seeing KC Jayhawk & Mrs KC Jayhawk all smiles and happy in your pictures. There should be more pictures of CBT & Mrs CBT all smiles in your pictures!
