It is hard to imagine that people are having Belize flights changed due to weather when it is so hot and sunny here on Ambergris Caye. Temp here today is 28c or 81.5f  I am watching Robert cleaning the pool out my window and thinking it it weren’t for work it would be a good day to just lay there and float.

Cook-Off – Asian Cuisine  – Wednesday, February 23, 2011 6 – 9 p.m. at the Tackle Box Bar & Grill

Come out and support Saga Humane Society with our monthly cook-off fundraiser for 2011. Each month will feature a different theme and  the recipes will become part of a cookbook that will be available for sale at the end of the year.

There will be a prize for 1st and 2nd place and also a raffle on the night of the event.

South and North Asian Countries Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Laos Malaysia, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, China, Taiwan, Japan, North Korea, South Korea, & Mongolia.

To enter, bring your ‘Everything Asian’ dish to the event no later than  6:00 p.m. The dish must serve a minimum of 60 sample size portions.

Please brig a copy of your recipe along with your entry so that it can become part of the Saga cookbook.
