A Good Friday

St.Michael’s mission team is back at Holy Cross  School to help out and do vacation Bible camp. For many of the members, this will be their 3rd time back. They do a fabulous job with the kids and have been a big help in the construction process over the course of their visits.

I got a chance to reconnect with John and had we an interesting conversation. He is a meteorologist, and is on the foundation board for Holy Cross school, so there was lots to talk about. I also met Nancy and Susan-Jo, two really nice ladies. They shared how they’ve all been enjoying their time at the school.

I’ve said it before, and l will say it again – You could not have paid me to go to school while on vacation, but the St. Michael’s crew did a great job of keeping the kids busy and making their Easter holiday special.

From the pictures below, you can see how happy both the kids and parents are making crafts for Good Friday. Today’s project was making shakers from plastic beads and paper plates. At the end of the day all of the kids got a special certificate for attending Vacation Bible Camp.
