Important Tuesday Events

Tuesday holds 2 very imporant events, unfortunately like many things that happen here in San Pedro they are overlapping. Starting at 6pm Tacklebox welcomes the Boogie in Belize Tsunami Skydivers with a band from Belize City, Vibration, reggae, soca, punta. There will be bbq for sale and this is a fundraiser to Help John our favorite barbeque man build his house.

Next comes a big community meeting hosted by Direct Abundance at the Lions Den.

Community Information Session Tuesday, February 23, 2010 6:30 – 8:00 pm Lion’s Den San Pedro

This session is for YOU!!

The focus of the Community Information Session includes:

• Understanding the dynamics of domestic violence
• How violence impacts the family
• Bringing Awareness to the issue of domestic violence
• Current progressive changes being made in Belize affecting the issue of domestic violence

One Evening could change the future of women in San Pedro.

The session will be led by Joanne O’Brien, founder of Direct Abundance, who is currently facilitating international workshops in various areas of social inequality, and assisting schools and orphanages in Belize Central America.
