Parrot Flies the Coop

Bob the Parrot flew the coop and headed back to Erie Pennsylvania today taking Joey Stevens and Bob the camera man with him. They had a great adventure even though it was only a few days in Belize.  The One Caribbean Weather crew has had a  to a long travel schedule – Curacao – Puerto Rico then San Pedro for a quick follow up visit. They are all glad to be heading home for thanks giving dinner.

We caught up with them this morning at the gas station. First stop was Tropic Air to drop off their luggage then Joey and I headed to Carts Belize to drop off their rental. Paul took Bob to the San Pedro Roman Catholic Church so he could attend a local service. We were still waiting for Joey’s credit card slip from the south office when Paul got back – Evelyn told us that she would have it delivered to Estel’s. Off we went stopping to ogle Charles Barbecue for a bit then went and parked ourselves at Tom’s table and enjoyed a leisurely breakfast and pleasant conversation. After breakfast we found Bob in the park enjoying some barbecue chicken. When he was done we had just enough time to get them to the airport for 11:30 as they were booked on the noon Tropic Air flight from Ambergris Caye to Belize City.
