Birthday Brunch, detour and Updated Moving Sale List
Cindy knew Paul has to work Friday’s so she decided to celebrate her birthday a day early instead so we could join her. The plan was to go to X’tan Ha Waterfront Resort and enjoy a beach day, we love it up there, but she saw rain on the horizon and decided to postpone the trip north. Plan B was beach, brunch and backgammon at Estel’s instead, always a guaranteed good time and delicious.
As it turns out the rain was on Belize time and yesterday was hot and sunny, perfect for sitting at Estel’s and people watching. Downpour hit around 2:00am this morning for a while and then started up again a few hours later and looking like it may come down a bit more before the day is done. Short heavy bursts are making for some good puddles on the back roads so much for just having washed the golf cart 🙂
We have a detour in effect on Coconut Drive in town. It starts by TMM taking you through Carlo’s and Ernie’s Runway Bar and Grill parking lot, down the pack road past Tropic Cargo and ends around Island Supermarket. To keep up with progress on the new road and it’s completion date like San Pedro Town Council facebook page. They are always posting great updates of what is going on around town.
The Kumars still have some items for sale, here is an updated list of what is left to clear out before they make their move to Tulum Mexico. If you are interested shopping call Carolyn and Surendra at 624-3976
The list columns did not post properly the way they looked in my draft, thanks to tacoboy and some HTML code, we got it fixed as good as we could. The columns are looking better but now the right hand side of my website are off in this post and I almost lost all my work in process. The joy of Tech troubles – NOT.
